Remarkable Makers

We created the Remarkable Makers series for Loch Lomond Whiskies to celebrate innovation, craft and the people who push their disciplines forward – all principles the Lomond Lomond Whiskies brand embodies.

The brand wanted to partner with makers whose approach reflects their own — precision, passion and a deep connection to place — and use these collaborations to reach new audiences in a more emotive, authentic way.

The series focusses on a different maker every year to produce a film, and supporting campaign assets, which links Loch Lomond Whiskies’ approach to innovation and craft to the maker’s.

To align with the release of a new product Steam & Fire, we collaborated with Genevieve Taylor, a renowned fire-cook who incorporated our whisky into a range of her creations using steam and fire to impart flavour into her food. We struck parallels between this and the Steam & Fire whisky production to create unique flavour combinations.

In another chapter in the series, the focus turned to two Scottish contemporary folk musicians, Charlie and Joseph, with a brief to create a piece of music inspired by Loch Lomond: the landscape, the liquid and the craft behind it.
