Crafty ecommerce.

Innis & Gunn is Scotland’s number one craft beer and a household name when it comes to flavour, innovation and reputation.

We were proud to design and build a beautifully crafted new brand and ecommerce website that reflects the bold personality of the brand, while giving their marketing team complete creative control.

The result is a flexible, future-proof platform that not only looks great but helps them launch products, run campaigns, and sell beer direct to customers quickly and effectively.

The Challenge

Innis & Gunn needed a new website that reflected the premium quality of their product while serving as a powerful, integrated ecommerce channel. It had to capture the distinctive brand tone visually and verbally, and perform flawlessly on mobile, where most users engage.

The existing platform made it difficult to build new pages or respond to campaign needs without developer input. They wanted freedom: the ability to create, test and launch product and campaign pages.

The site also had to integrate tightly with fulfilment systems and CRM platforms like Flavourly and Klaviyo – connecting ecommerce with customer communications and automating experiences that were previously manual or fragmented.

Flexible.

We developed a new component-based architecture, built using Craft CMS and Craft Commerce.

The Solution

Our modular system was designed to allow the Innis & Gunn team to build campaign landing pages, launch new beers and update content quickly and easily.

Our design system ensures consistency across every page, with a mobile-first layout, bold typography, and tone-perfect copy that delivers an experience as crafted as the beer itself.

We integrated with Klaviyo to enable personalised marketing and promotions, and with the Flavourly API to handle order fulfilment, ensuring customer experiences are seamless from scroll to doorstep.
